Stay Wise and Spiritually Alert

Image
The world we live in today requires more than good intentions; it requires wisdom, discernment, and spiritual alertness. Not everyone who smiles with you truly means well, and not every opportunity or voice should be trusted blindly. Sometimes the enemy works quietly through deception, pressure, confusion, or people with harmful intentions. This is why God calls His children to stay watchful and wise. Being spiritually alert does not mean living in fear or suspicion of everyone around you. It means learning to pray before acting, thinking carefully before speaking, and allowing God to guide your decisions, relationships, and actions. Wisdom protects you from many unnecessary battles. At the same time, God does not want your heart to be controlled by fear. While you stay vigilant, you must also remain confident in God’s protection. The same God who warns you to be careful is also the God who promises to defend and preserve you from evil. Beloved, stay prayerful, stay discerning, and sta...

You Are Not Beyond God’s Mercy

Image
You Are Not Beyond God’s Mercy Some people smile in public but quietly carry heavy regret inside. There are memories they wish they could erase, choices they wish they had never made, and moments they replay over and over in their minds. Guilt has a way of making a person feel stuck—like they must keep punishing themselves for what happened. But God did not create you to live under the weight of shame forever. No matter how far you feel you have fallen, God’s mercy can still reach you. He is not waiting to reject you or remind you of every failure. He is inviting you to come honestly before Him. God already knows the things you are struggling to forgive yourself for, and yet His love for you has not changed. One of the hardest things to do is to accept forgiveness and believe that a new beginning is still possible. But this is the beauty of God’s grace: He cleanses, restores, and gives people another chance. Your past may explain some things, but it does not have to control the rest...

Strength in Times of Temptation

Image
Strength in Times of Temptation Temptation is something everyone faces. Sometimes it shows up when you are tired, discouraged, lonely, or emotionally overwhelmed. In those moments, staying strong may feel difficult, and the struggle can seem very personal. But God does not leave you helpless or alone in those battles. His Word reminds us that temptation is part of human life, but it is never greater than God’s ability to help us overcome it. God is faithful. Even when the pressure feels intense, He always provides a way out and gives the strength needed to choose what is right. Do not allow a temporary weakness to pull you away from God. Instead, let it push you closer to Him. The more you stay connected to God through prayer, His Word, and wise decisions, the stronger your spirit becomes.  God’s grace does not only correct—it also strengthens, teaches, and restores. Beloved, be intentional about protecting your heart and mind. When  temptation begins to rise, step away fr...

Our Ultimate Refuge There are seasons when everything feels uncertain—when the economy shifts, security feels fragile, and the future looks unclear. In moments like this, it’s easy for fear to creep in and take hold of the heart. But God reminds us that even when things around us are shaking, He remains unshaken. God is not distant in times of crisis. He is present, right in the middle of it all—your refuge, your strength, and your help. When systems fail and situations change, He stays constant and dependable. You may not have control over everything happening around you, but you can choose where to stand. Stand in Him. Take a moment to pause and refocus your heart. Instead of feeding fear, remind yourself daily: God is my refuge and strength. Let this truth settle your heart and guide your response. “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of t...

Rooted and Flourishing in God

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly… and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” ( Psalm 1:1–3) Beloved, Psalm 1 reminds us that true blessing begins with choice. The blessed person is not defined by what they possess, but by the path they deliberately refuse to walk—rejecting ungodly counsel, harmful influences, and destructive patterns. Instead, they are rooted in God’s Word, delighting in it daily and allowing it to shape their thoughts, decisions, and actions. The psalmist paints a powerful image: a tree planted by rivers of water. This speaks of a life positioned intentionally—nourished, stable, and fruitful in every season. Even when conditions are harsh, such a person does not wither, because their source is constant. God’s Word provides wisdom, direction, and strength that sustain growth over time. The promise is clear and encouraging: “whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” This is not a guarantee of ease, but an assurance of divine alignment. When our ...

NO MATTER YOUR POSITION

N O  M ATTER  Y OUR  P OSITION     In 2 Samuel 7:2–3, King David, though a powerful and established leader, exemplifies true humility and spiritual maturity. Despite having the authority and resources to build a temple, David did not take matters into his own hands simply because he was king. Instead, he chose to do what was right by first consulting the prophet Nathan. This shows that David recognized God’s ultimate authority and sought His guidance before proceeding with his plans.  THE POWER OF SEEKING PERMISSION David's actions demonstrate that true leadership involves acknowledging God's authority and seeking His guidance. By doing so, David shows that even when we have the power to act, it's essential to prioritize God's will and permission. KEY TAKEAWAYS: 1.  Humility in leadership:  David's approach teaches us that true power lies in humility and recognizing God's sovereignty. 2.  Seeking God's face:  By seeking permission, David...

A PATH OF INNER PEACE

Image
Dearly beloved, today I want to share a powerful truth with you. The best way to avoid disappointment is to not expect anything from anyone. When you do things with a good heart and expect nothing in return, you'll find freedom from the weight of expectation. Think about it. How often have you felt let down becau se someone didn't meet your expectations? It's a heavy burden to carry. But what if you flipped the script? What if you did things solely because you wanted to make a difference, to help, or to bring joy? When you let go of expectations, you will discover a sense of peace and contentment. You will no longer be bound by the need for validation or recognition. You will be free to act, to give, and to love without attachment to specific outcomes. As it is written in Luke 6:35, _ "But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back." _ Let's strive to live this way, doing good without expectation of reward or re...
