Love of Money
Today's word of advice for you is in Hebrews 13:5 - Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,”
Unhealthy desire for wealth has led to the ruin of many lives. Rather than being unhappy, jealous, greedy or covetous over what we do not have; instead, let our moral essence, our inner nature be thankful for what we do have and hopeful for what we will one day obtain.
Therefore: - Be free from the love of money. For "the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils." (1 Timothy 6:10);
- Be hard-working;
- Stand up friend, be creative;
-Think, plan and find a way to solving a specific human's problem in our society today;
- Be careful of "quick to get" syndrome so as to avoid quick crash/destruction/death;
- Be contented and not covetous.
- Above all, depend on God and not on your ability, wisdom or strength. God said, “I WILL NEVER [under any circumstances] DESERT YOU [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], NOR WILL I FORSAKE or LET YOU DOWN or RELAX MY HOLD ON YOU [assuredly not]!” (Hebrews 13:5b AMP)
Prayer: Almighty God deliver me from every form of covetousness or "quick to get" syndrome, may I always be thankful of that which you have and will provide for me always. Thank you for what you are doing in my life and household in Jesus' name. Amen.
